Multi-level Deep Diver

Diving deeper than 20 meters is only permissible for certified "Deep Divers" (to a maximum depth of 40 metres), or for certified "Technical Divers" who use a breathing mixture comprised of 3 or more gases (to a depth of 100 metres or more). The deeper you dive, the shorter the maximum dive time may be.

Multi-level diving, is a technique by which the dive time between a depth of 20 and 40 metres can be safely extended, because nitrogen absorbed at the start of the dive can be expelled later in the dive.

During the IAHD specialty course 'Multi-level Deep Diver" you learn how to easily and safely, carry out dives to a depth between 20 and 40 metres.
